Are Unemployment Benefits Subject to Minimum Wage Laws in NC

If I collect unemployment am I supposed to be getting minimum wage in NC?

Don't we wish.

I'm trying my best to be serious. Minimum wage laws apply to wages.

They do not apply to the benefits received from an insurance plan paid for by employers when a job (the thing wage laws apply to) ends.
