being short on my paperwork

i work in retail and my paperwork came up short the employeer couldn't find why i was short but in 2008 i sign a paper stating if i came up short i could be fired can i get unemployment.

What kind of paper did you sign in 2008 and by paperwork coming up short .. do you mean your cash drawer came up short?
