CAN I QUIT TO TAKE CARE OF ELDERLY MOM

by GREG
(CA.)

MY STEPFATHER JUST DIED AND MY MOM CANNOT LIVE ALONE. SHE HAS ASKED ME TO MOVE UP TO HER PLACE AND TAKE CARE OF HER. SHE IS CURRENTLY 79 YEARS OLD AND CANNOT LIVE ALONE. I'M THE ONLY FAMILY SHE HAS THAT SHE CAN COUNT ON. SHE OWNS HER HOUSE OUTRIGHT & DOES NOT WANT TO LEAVE AND WILL NOT. I FEEL I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DO THIS FOR HER. CAN I COLLECT UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS IF I QUIT MY JOB FOR THIS REASON? THANK YOU FOR YOUR FAST RESPONSE....

Hi Greg,
