DENIED MY UNEMPLOYMENT. HELP !!

by TOMMY
(KENTUCKY)

I WORK IN A FACTORY IN KENTUCKY. I RECENTLY QUIT MY JOB AND WAS DENIED UNEMPLOYMENT. WE WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK AT TIMES FOR MONTHS AND WEEKENDS ARE MOSTLY 12 HR DAYS. A PERSON STAYS WORN OUT , HAVE NO TIME WITH FAMILY, I COULD GO ON. 40% OF MY PAY THIS YEAR IS OVERTIME. MY EMPLOYER WILL TELL YOU IF YOU DO LIKE IT THERE'S THE DOOR. MY QUESTION IS IF YOU'VE WORKED SO MUCH OVERTIME BENEFITS CANT BE DENIED.

Of course benefits can be denied. I keep saying .. you quit .. it's your burden and that burden is something that almost always must be dealt with before you quit.

All you have now is an argument that every time you asked for some relief .. you were told "there's the door".

At least that's all you told me about.
