discharge for misconduct

by sherry
(agoura hills, ca)

worked for the co. for 11 yrs. never taken to hr. never made any type of error. was not given any warning after the incident. incident happened at approx: 8:15 a.m. not taken down to hr until approx 2:15 p.m.

Well, clearly you have not gotten any of the message I try to relay about how the devil is in the details.

All I can tell from your account of thing is that the employer thought the "incident" was so egregious, that it called for immediate termination.

Because six hours is not an unreasonable length of time for the employer to make that decision.

I'm telling you that there is a very real connection between the "incident" and the discharge .. in case that's where you were headed with this question.
