DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.

by DAVID
(SOUTH SHORE,KY)

I BECAME LAID OFF MARCH 19 OF THIS YEAR,AND HAD TO DO A COMBINED WAGE CLAIM.AFTER NINE WEEKS OF BEING UNEMPLOYED,AND NOT RECEIVING ANYTHING IN THE MAIL REGARDING A DECISION,AND NUMEROUS TELEPHONE CALLS WITH EACH PERSON GIVING ME THE RUN ROUND. MY QUESTION IS. DOES IT TAKE LONGER TO DO CWC? OR WHAT!.

Hi,

It sounds like it. What's the other state?

chris, you were asking what was the other state.ohio had to take my quarters@money from when i worked in ky,and combine it with my ohio.so iwould be drawing out of ohio.

Well, Ohio is busy .. but nine weeks is way to long to wait anywhere .. go ahead .. call the attorney generals office and tell them how long you have been waiting for a determination just denying or allowing benefits. I dare you:)

It should not take more than 6 weeks at the very most .. of course that was in the days of 5 percent unemployment .. but that shouldn't matter .. should it?

The normal wait use to be 3-4 weeks.

I'm going to have to stop writing now .. because I had to remove two paragraphs of non stop ranting about making people wait beyond reason and other incomprehensible rhetorical bullshit that is being fed to the public to distract us from the fact that the system is failing.
