The conditions to be monetarily eligible for unemployment vary from state to state and it has nothing to do with the amount of hours you work unless you're asking because your hours have been reduced and your wondering about partial unemployment benefits.

If you are totally unemployed from part-time employment, the amount of hours you are available to work in the future may have the effect of denying benefits to someone who is found monetarily eligible though if the state does not have a favorable part-time worker provision.
