Unemployed Stories

not having your schedule worked around

by Hannah
(Ocala)

I have been working at my job for over a year, and they have me doing double duty. I have to work both close and subs, which I have spoken to my manager about and she said she would make sure that it doesn't continue to be scheduled that way. For a few weeks it changed, but has been back to having me close and work subs (double duty) for the past few months. Plus I am a college student and they said they would work around my schedule but are not, and have not for a couple of months. I am starting to flunk and have to quit..

Hannah,

If you quit because of school you may as well find another job first .. because you will not get unemployment benefits.
