Play Dough - Frugal Recipe Of The Day!

by April

With summer here and children are home for the summer, little hands get super busy. Why not keep them busy with some play dough that will literally take you minutes to make and keep them busy for hours!

Play Dough

1c. Flour
1/2c. Salt
1 T. Oil
1/2 tsp cream of tarter
1c. Water
Food Coloring

Cook flour, salt, oil, cream of tarter and water for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add food color and knead until cool. Store in an airtight container.

This is a safe alternative if you have children that you are afraid will eat the play dough and cheap to make versus the store bought stuff you can buy!

April :)
