Did you resign or just quit? I too had to do the same thing. I told unemployment I had to resign or else I was going to get fired. You may have to tell them you are able to work just to get benefits. Worked for me! Good luck!!!

Yes I did read this very helpful of course but I will have doubts until I receive a confirmation they told me I will be denied right now until my pfl bonding is expired and then they will re submit my application but that information made me a lot less stressed thank you

I forgot a few things I've been on maternity leave since he was born. My job sent me a letter stating that my cfra fmla and bonding time has expired and that I needed to call them with a date when I could return to work.....I advised hr that I needed a lil more time and that I still have not taken the six weeks of fmla bonding and she said you have been gone 7 months you have no more time. So that left me with no other choice but to quit my 4 month old requires a lot of care I don't know if any of you have a baby with health problems but this has made me emotionally and physically drained I hope unemployment does not hassle me I quit yes but I had to.
