Unemployed Stories

Telling my employer (Bank) that I would be soliciting outside the financial center to gain new business. When in actuality I wasn't. And I got caught lying about my whereabouts.

by Mark
(Des Plaines, Il, US)

I was informed by my manager that He had proof I wasn't where I said I would be and a decision regarding my employment would be made the next business day. The next business day he brought me in the office and informed me that I was being terminated for lying about where I was as well as lying on my time card.

Oops-a-daisy .. sounds like intentional misconduct to me.
