Unemployment benefits and disability

I had lost my job last year and received unemployment,i had applied for disability last Novemenber and was approved..I am looking for work with my disability and cant find anything..I was told i could collect unemployment til it runs out.Is this true..i called unemployment and this is what i was told..disability is much less.Can u help me?


What? Much less than what?

A disability itself does not disqualify you from unemployment unless the disability prevents you from working.

Lots and lots of people with disabilities work .. therefore are entitled to file for unemployment benefits and all the usual rules will apply.

But there are six states in this country that also have a form of temporary disability unemployment benefits. What state are you in.
