UNEMPLOYMENT QUESTION!!! PLEASE HELP!

by lh
(Denver)

I was on unemployment and my last payment was deposited on May 23rd, so my last eligible week was May 19th. My initial claim started in Dec of 08. When I called to check on my claim it says I have $0, and my claim is exhausted. However it says my claim doesn't expire until Nov 6 2010. I was on unemployment for about 72 - 73 weeks if I am calculating correct. With the new extension will I be able to receive any more benefits?

I don't know, but if memory serves .. Colorado's unemployment rate isn't nearly as bad as some states and extensions are somehow tied to the rate .. I just don't know how exactly.

If you are eligible .. I'm sure that when the extension does pass .. you will receive something in the mail if there is more for you to collect.
