What does "IS" mean on check status?

by Ruth
(Nevada Unemployment Benefits)

Hi I live in Nevada and was wondering what "IS" mean on check status online?

It went from DQ to IS ?

I believe it means issued or issues ?

can you please help ? and if a check was issued when will it reflect on my appicard ?

Thanks.

Hi Ruth,

It's the little things isn't it?

I have no idea what IS means, but although I'm leaning toward want you think .. issued, I think maybe I'll just throw this out there and see if someone in NV can confirm our assumption is correct and maybe .. even offer the link to the page on the NV website that defines all their acronyms.

I'll add it to my state bookmarks.

Chris

Definitely IS doesn't mean issued. more like suspended. I also live in Nevada. I got "IS" a while ago. I searched their web site and the net for the definition but I couldn't find it. I thought it means check is issued. I kept filing but no money in debit card. After two weeks, I called them up and asked them. My problem was I took a free night class at trade school. Your problem is probably different. Call them up.

When I filed, it said my claim is approved, but no money was deposited. I checked my status, it show IS. Next week later I filed, again it is approved but no money is deposited. That when I called them up and got the problem solved.
