conflict of scheduling

by laura

(michigan)

I asked the owner of the bar where I worked at for a raise and he laughed me off. So I asked him to change my hours to lighter days. I was off for an injury to my foot(no i didn’t go to the doctor, I have no ins. and really can’t afford an er visit)then had to go out of town, which they had prior notice, came back and worker my next two scheduled days and on my day off the manager called me and told me I was fired. When I asked the reason, he said ” I don’t know, conflict of schedule.”

Laura,

All you can do is apply and see what happens. You haven’t given enough details for me to say anything, but just enough for me to speculate and about what you didn’t say.

If this is really all there is to it…your former boss’s case stinks.
