Laid Off Due to Lack of Work and Waiting to Be Recalled

I’m a Pennsylvania resident and was recently laid off due to lack of work with a pending recall.
I’ve filed for unemployment but it takes about a month to get my first payment.
If I start back to work before I get my first uc payment will I still get that money for the time I was out of work?

Yes, I see no problem with why you shouldn’t You receive unemployment backpay, as long as you keep following PA’s rules for filing continuing unemployment claims, (usually found in a claimant handbook sent after applying for unemployment) while you wait for the recall to work.
