poor work performance

My Supervisor Wrote:
During the months of employment, I have noticed that you have not been taking a lot of initiative with learning the software, hardware and taking an active part in the hands on management of the Massachusetts account. Additionally, your activities are not in line with my expectations for an Account Manager. Roles and responsibilities along with suggestions and tips were given to you during training sessions on the job and in formal classroom training. We have discussed in detail your performance in these areas and will continue to do so through our weekly one on ones. To date, there has not been any significant improvement in the areas notated.
Improvement in management of your account must occur, and if it does not improve to the specifications listed above, within the specified timeframe, a written warning will occur. A decrease in performance after successfully completing the improvement plan may result in the issuance of another warning or improvement plan.

I got terminated shortly after this was given to me.

Hi,

How long did you work there?
Did you ever perform the job to her satisfaction or attain any of the expectations of the “detailed performance plan”?

what is inability?

by: Anonymous

What if it was inability? I was just fired after two months because, despite my best efforts, I could not meet expectations. I was given a warning two or three weeks in, and the opportunity to improve, but I was out of my league. Does that qualify as “no fault of my own?”

I would think so ..

I worked 7 months and did meet I thought most of her expectations but according to that report I’ll say some of her expectations.

Hi,

What I’m looking for is whether the employer ever gave you a satisfactory performance review.

If not, did you do the job to the best of your ability??

Was the reason you were not able to meet the employer expectation .. inability???
