School in Oklahoma

by john

(oklahoma)

can i go to school in oklahoma and still get unemployment.

Hi John,

That is something you need to ask at an Oklahoma workforce center

As far as going to without approval, therefore risking an able and available unemployment issue .. I always begin at the USDOL.

The USDOL chartbook (non-monetary table 5-12)
answers the question:

“Disqualified Or Ineligible While
Attending School?”

For Oklahoma the chart says: “No, provided student offers to quit
school, adjust class hours, or
change shifts to secure
employment”
