can i collect unemployment if i have been fired for being insubordinate

I think I am going to be fired because I see a pattern in my company that is firing long term associates and I am starting to get questioned about how I do my job after 11 years.

Hi,

Better start writing everything down and if they begin writing you up…respond with rebuttal letters as to your reasons why the action is unfair…we’ll call this counter-documenting. It’s something so few people do and they definitely should do when they feel an employer is trying to create reasons to discharge.

Because of the job I did have, I did see a strong pattern of employers first trying to get rid of long-term employees for cause to eliminate possible severance payments and unemployment. If you or anyone becomes aware of this…it is now the time to take steps to protect yourself not after they let you go.
