ok i was just fired from my job of ten years. i was put on probation for missing work when my two year old was airlifted to childrens hospital for a head injury. we didnt get home until 2 to 3 am. and i had to leave my house at 6am to get to work on time so i called in. then a month later my wife and i both got a case of food poisoning. the doctor ordered me to be out of work for the rest of the week for dehydration because of the foodpoisoning. and the doctor reported the restaraunt to the health department as well. but the company fired me anyway even though i was on doctors orders. and i have all the paperwork and offered to bring them proof. only theing they wanted to know was where i ate at so they wouldn't get sick as well then they fired me oh well.
Sounds to me, like a convenient way to downsize.

One point .. offer to fax all the documentation the employer didn't want to the state.
