Need information on how to collect PARTIAL unemployment so I can forward on to my techs!

Hi Sue,

It’s easy enough. Just have them file a claim online.

Partial unemployment benefits are based on a claim for total unemployment. When calculating partial benefits, California will disregard the first $25 or 25 percent whichever is greater of earnings before the benefit amount begins to be reduced dollar for dollar.

California also has a work share program.

The advantage to the employee is the benefit is based on reduced hours of work .. instead of reduced pay.
