Can I claim unemployment in CA, if my husband has taken a job in OR?

(CA)

My husband has taken a job in OR and we are moving out of CA. I will be leaving my job in CA voluntarily. I will not start working right away and I want to know if I can collect unemployment.

If so, can I take care of all the paperwork and “proof” of job searching from out of the state of CA?

Will I ever have to meet with any one in person?

No you cannot collect benefits. if you willfully choose to leave your job, you do not get free money from the state.
