Different Reason for being Fired by My employer. One reason on separation notice and another on the appeal form.

Different Reason for being Fired by My employer. One reason on separation notice and another on the appeal form.

My ex-employer is appealing my unemployment claim. In my separation notice, it states one reason why they fired me, and in the appeal letter it states a totally different reason for me being fired. I just want to know if I have any ground to stand on with this.. Neither reasons were 100% accurate and they are contradicting themselves. What do you think?

Hi,

Would you mind giving me some information so i can think on an answer?

What was the reason on the separation notice and what was the reason in the appeal letter?

And then, why don’t you tell me why you think you were separated?

I could spend my time speculating about why this is so and possibly hit on an answer that would have meaning to you .. but why do that, when it’s easier to ask you to be specific.
