early retirement because you think your company is going to close in 3 months.

by Joseph

(las angeles)

If I don’t take early retirement by July 2010 I cannot collect my pension until I am 65. I am 57 now and the company will probably close it’s doors this july. If I take early retirement now I will at least have some income for the next 7 years, otherwise I may not have a job or be able to get early retirement benefits,

Hi Joseph,

What is it you want to know?

Do you want to know if taking early retirement because you think the company will close is good cause for quitting?
