employer says I refused an offer of work by calling me and leaving a message

by j. maloney

(rockford, illinois)

after I was unemployed for about 10 days because there was not a truck to drive, employer says they called me and left messages on my voice mail. I never recieved a message on the dates they claim, and have my cell phone records to prove it. Furthermore I was NOT on call or any such thing. The day they claim to call me was only to work for 8 hours and then who knows when again. As I stated , NO CALLS, on phone records

Hi,

Who told you the day they claimed to have called was only for 8 hours of work?
