Entitled to unemployment in CA?
Long story short... I claimed hostile work environment at my job. I hired an attorney that went to bat with the company's attorney. In the end, the company agreed to pay me a settlement and said I could resign. They also gave me job placement, benefits, etc. (everything they would include in their severance package). Part of the hostile work place was that there were trying to get me to quit so they would not have to pay severance. Am I entitled to unemployment? The company said no and I have an appeal hearing set-up? What should my main points be? Thanks
