Good Cause??

by Trevor

(Massena, NY USA)

i was recently employed by an insurance company and it was a commission based pay only. after struggling to make sales i asked my employer for a new area to work in, the company denied my request. i soon after quit my job because i lost my vehicle as i was struggling with my sales and therefore my paycheck reflected it and i lost my transportation. without a vehicle i was unable to go to work full time i called my employer and informed him of the situation and he said “lets call this what it is and you can come back and give this another try once/if your situation changes” how is this not considered good cause to leave my job?

It’s a personal issue. An employer is not responsible for our ability to make our car payments.
