having panic attacks constantly at work

by Kristen

(Pennsylvania)

I started back to work in January. Its a stressful job because the boss is always threatening us that the job will end at any time. (we are contract employees) In february I started having major panic attacks at work. I work in an underground facility. The stress at work got worse because the boss started playing “favorites” with a few of the employees and everyone else was always on edge about losing their jobs. My panic attacks got worse and seemed to happen most on my way to work or at work. Three times in a month I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance from work due to heart palpitations. These got so bad that I had to quit. Can I collect?

Hi Kristen,

I don’t know and can you guess why?

Okay, I’ll tell you. All you told me was how bad your boss and job were.

You left out what you did before quitting to preserve the employment.
