Don’t know why on 4/23/09 I worked at a church working as a childcare worker and on the date above at 1:54pm after i got home a message was left on answer machine to come to work early on 4/24/09 this morning and was told that i was no longer needed, and was escorted off the ground by a police officer. Am i eglible for unemployment if i was employed by the church.

Yes. A person can collect unemployment if they worked for a church and received a paycheck, Churches also have to pay unemployment tax on employee wages, but you do realize you were fired for misconduct .. therefore, that’s the problem in the way of collecting unemployment.
