I was fired because of excessive absenses. Can I still get unemployment in Arizona?

Due to illness with doctor note, my father had surgery and needed assistance, and my grandfather had passes away and I had to leave out of the country. My manager had told me it was due to missing 18 days of work in 6 months. Can I still file for unemployment in AZ?

Hi,

You can file .. nothing prevents anyone from filing an unemployment claim.

If you just want a little free understanding about your unemployment issue and how it might work out under widely varying and different personal circumstances .. please try the search bar first.

Just plug your questions in it and see what comes back or try some relevant words or phrases.

The questions I have are how long you worked for the employer, whether your employer is required to comply with FMLA, whether the employer has a special procedure for requesting leave, whether you did request a leave of absence ..

So I used the search bar ..

FMLA
Personal leave of absence
Employer call off procedure
Getting fired while on FMLA or a personal leave of absence
