I work a few hours every week or so do I need to declare this money and do I list it in the other area of the form?

by Joann

(Williamsport, PA USA)

If I work for someone other than my previous employer and I only work an hour or so every week or so, is there a limit to how much you can earn without declaring it or do you need to declare all of it? Is this money listed under the “other wage” area on the form?

Hi Joann,

You must report any earnings. PA will disregard the greater of $6 or 40 percent of your weekly benefit amount in earnings before they start reducing your benefit amount.

I don’t know where you need to put the amount on the form.
