If you’re going to school, taking online courses, how long can you recieve unemployment?

by stephen

(washington)

And are there any stipulations when going to school and collecting unemployment benefits?

Yes Stephen, there are stipulations when going to school whether online courses, or physically attending a school where the courses are held and collecting unemployment benefits.

The duration of benefits however has nothing to do with you going to school.

The basic reason used to stop paying someone unemployment benefits however, is not being able and available for work due to school attendance, or not being able to prove you applied for job while collecting.

But then I think I’ve pretty much explained the stipulations and provided some good resource material on the page about getting unemployment while in school.
