i would never turn down a job for a vacation, but my point is that i am getting married and if the request for the time off ahead of time is made, could this make you ineligible for unemployment.

Well then,what do you mean? Refusing suitable work because they won’t allow you to have time off in the future contrary to their policies is a refusal without good cause irregardless of what it is for.
