less pay than paid by original owner if done within 30 days?

(Atlantic City NJ USA)

I'm getting less pay from the new owner than paid by original owner

The company that I originally worked for in Atlantic City, NJ, was bought by a new owner that made everyone reapply for their job. I was one of a few in my department that was rehired. I accepted the job, and now realize that my income has been greatly reduced. My hourly rate was over $8.00 and now is $4.50. Do I have 30 days to change my mind?

Hi,

What do you do for a living .. because 4.50 an hour isn't even the federal minimum wage.

I would also be concerned if you had been informed or if you asked how much you would be paid in the new job.

I am a cocktail server. Unfortunately, they did inform me of the $4.50 an hour, and I did accept.

Then I think it's time to look for a new job because I don't think you can expect to collect benefits if you quit. You accepted the conditions of the new job.
