Losing My CDL license due to a DWI and Chemical Test refusal?

by aArryl

(NY)

My position required a CDL license which I lost for 18 months due to refusal of a chemical test. I have not yet been convicted of the DWI and am going to plead not guilty. My company fired me and called it “administrative termination”.

Hi,

I would say you need to read Section 1100

Attorneys are so much fun. I fired mine because he did crap work and I had to research everything and he billed me 1500 for doing nothing. Here is what you need to do. call a law firm and tell them you are a first year law student and really want to get an A on your paper… tell them the situation and ask them the question. They will spit the answer right out to you in a language you understand. Good luck to you…

Attorney .. what attorney?

The question was stupid and lazy.

Please Explain?

by: Anonymous

I do not understand section 1100, it is too technical. Can you please explain in laymen’s terms? The DWI arrest was not on personal time and had no affect on my job performance. Thank you.

Well, then I would first need you to clarify what you mean by “The DWI arrest was not on personal time and had no affect on my job performance” If not personal time .. what time .. while you were working?

And I believe you said that you “refused to take a drug test”.

If you’d like to copy and paste the part that is “confusing you” .. I’ll try to help you understand, but I’m not doing YOUR research for you for free.
