misconduct/ insubordination

I arrived at work and was told there wasn’t much work and that I would have to go to another area. I told my group leader that I was having a bad day and that I was going to take a personal day and she said ok she would let my supervisor know. Then he came to me and tried to get me to stay and I told him I was going home and taking a personal day. He told me that personnel had told him to fire people for that before and I told him to do what he had to do because company policy states that an employee can not be fired for taking a personal day unless their attendance is bad. And i had good attendance. My boss told me he would do all he could do to save my job and then told me to enjoy my vacation the next week. and then the lady from personnel told me I would be eligible for unemployment.

Well, good for you .. and your question is????
