missed work and was fired for not reporting off, but I did call off.
I got a point at work because they said I didn't report off when I did report off, They said they didn't get the message on the answering machine.
Okay, you were fired for what .. going over the point limit for attendance, or for not calling off?
Couple questions .. Does the policy require to "speak" with someone or is leaving a message standard operating procedure?
Were you on a final written warning?
What was the reason you called off and in fact if on a final written warning .. what were the reasons for the other absences?
And if the policy does require "speaking" with someone .. why did you leave a message instead.
It's in the details always .. and you didn't give me any at all to work with.
