Recieved Audit of notice, not intention to commit fraud

ILLINOIS~ Worked as a temp candidate. Didn't report in the wages and now recieved a letter of audit. Know I am wrong for not reporting anything in. Now I want to recover from this. I fear that this might be jail time? I am willing to pay back for the 14weeks that was overpaid to me. I don't want this to be known as fraud it was an honest mistake on my part and I've learned. I didnt' read the handout carefully until it was too late. I don't want to receive a letter stating I owe more than I should or they want the whole amount all at once, impossible for me to do because I have other bills as well and I don't want to have this garnished.

Hi Sa,

You will find the fraud and non fraud repayment information and possible punishments .. including jail time.Under Overpayments.

If you do not want this to be seen as "fraud", get yourself an attorney.
