my restaurant closed I filed a claim I cant work at the other stores right know due to husbands terminal cancer I am sole caregiver my restaurant was 5 minutes from my house the others are too far will I be denied unemployment.

Although you failed to mention how far the additional distance would be .. aside from telling me it would take more than 5 minutes to get there.

You also didn’t tell me which state which might be relevant if you were also only working part-time.

Are you sure you shouldn’t of asked for a personal leave of absence instead of refusing a job?

I realize there may not be money coming in while on a leave, but because your situation has severely restricted your ability and availability to work .. benefits are unlikely as well.
