schooling and time

by ANONYMOUS

I have been unemployed for almost a year I have been looking for work in my spare time.

While awaiting an offer I decided to go back to school and reinvent myself. I was advised I needed to complete basic classes in order to do so.

Now I’m being denied unemployment. I have plenty of time left for work and need to work in anyting.

I am a single mom with 2 kids and I am struggling. My question is why can’t I go to school part time and still be available to work?

The professors are well aware of my situation and my struggles. I am willing and ready and able to work. Please HELP

Hi Anonymous,

I would like to be able to help, but going to school and collecting unemployment is a very state specific issue .. I don’t know what state you are collecting unemployment from.
