Staffing Company and Denied Unemployment

I was released from a position with a staffing company which I had held for almost 2 years. No reason was given accept that the assignment had ended.

I went into the office and returned my identification and I at the point asked for another assignment. I was told that they would call me back when another position became available. I then applied for unemployment.

The Staffing agency said that I quit because I didn’t call into the office weekly and tell them I was available. My unemployment was disqualified as me quitting. I want to appeal, but I am wondering do I really have a chance at winning? All I have is an email telling me not to report into work and my word. There was no previous discussion about weekly calls.

Hi,

Please provide the name of the state.
