CAN I STILL DRAW UNEMPLOYEEMENT FOR REFUSAL TO GO BACK TO WORK AFTER RECEIVING MY LACK OF WORK SLIP?

Hi Tammy,

No. The employer (who is paying for your unemployment) will report to the state that you refused work.. The state will send a new determination telling you “Benefits denied due to refusal of suitable work”.

Of course, you would be free to appeal that decision, but you would then have to show good cause for the refusal.
