Unemployment appeal and the EDD
I recently voluntarily quit my job in Southern California to move to Northern California. I was engaged at the time and instead of my fiance moving to Southern California to live with me (she is the sole caregiver of her elderly mother who suffers with Alzheimer’s Disease), we saw no other alternative than for me to move to Northern California.
After seeking employment for many months to no avail, I applied for UE thru EDD. My claim was denied. Do I have good cause for appeal?
