Unemployment Back Pay After Untimely Appeal?

by ANNON

If my appeal was filed 14 months later would I recieve back pay for all that time?If I have proof my employer was keeping bad records is there a good chance of a victory?

Seems to me your first problem is good cause for the untimely appeal .. unless I missed something, or you didn’t know timeliness of appeal is an important issue address at unemployment hearings .. usually first.

And, if you are asking about regular unemployment benefits fourteen months means you’ve already missed your shot at continuing the claim with extension benefits ..

Regular benefits provide on average 26 weeks of benefits during a claim year .. which only last 12 months..
