Unemployment Benefits Alabama

by Colleen

(Dothan, Al , USA)

Fired because of dishonesty and negligence. That is what my termination paper says. I have no idea where that come from. I’ve tried to talk with the manager to question the accusations but he do not want to talk about it. I’m totally confused!! It’s sad to get fired for something that is unfound. Will I be able to get unemployment for those specific allegations?

Hi Colleen,

The employer will have to prove the allegations. So if he wants to keep you from getting unemployment he’ll have to talk about it sooner or later.
