What do I do? I haven’t received any benefits despite having sent forms with instructor’s signature.

by Candace

(St Louis, Missouri)

I have been approved for unemployment while going to school, but I have not received any money.

My unemployment is used for my rent and I am now 2 week’s behind. I was sent letters that I have to fill out and have my instructor sign. I have sent three of them back so far. My question is how much longer do i have to wait?

Hi Candace,

I can’t tell you how much longer you’ll have to wait, but I can tell you what I would do is call the unemployment department to find out what the hold up might be.

Can’t fix a problem until you know what’s causing it.

Chris
