after 3 months can i get unemployment

If I was let go then denied unemployment is there a period u can wait then get benefits?
Someone told me if I don't find a job in three months I can re apply and get benefits.



No .. that is not my understanding of benefits .. at least no in CA.

To purge a disqualification and requalify .. you have to return to work and earn X amount times your weekly benefits amount and then suffer a qualifying separation from work .. before you can receive benefits.

That is .. unless you appeal a denial and win .. then it's as if you had never been disqualified and you receive backpay of benefits.
