Can I collect unemployment because I had to sell my home in new york- coulnt afford to keep it anymore - I'm moving to florida.

I have a big problem- I had to sell my home in New york or would have lost it- now I'm moving to florida to cause I can live with my mom- can I collect unemployment until I find a job- there's no chance of me transferring as the company has no business in florida- what do I do?

I say be grateful you have some place to live. You may have a personally compelling reason to do what you needed to do, but you won't be able to collect unemployment because of it.
