I was laid off in Oct. 2009 and received 2 checks then nothing I sent in paperwork every time

I have not worked since October 2009 from a lay off and sent in paperwork but no more checks after the second. Can I receive back pay for accrued payment?



I would think so, but I'm wondering why benefits were stopped.

Do you know? Have you done anything to try to find out why?

Just recently I refiled, but prior no...

When payment stopped I thought that maybe I had no more benefits. However, I decided to try to re-open the claim. They had sent "continued claim" form within a week as if it never ended. That was where my confusion started.




Well, it's time to sit on hold with the unemployment department and get an answer. If you have not received a determination denying benefits .. you need to find out if one was issued, but failed to arrive in your mailbox.
