my wife passed away and i have a 3 yr old

by tim

my wife passed away feb 2008, my company and i tried many different things and i ended up continuing to work for them missing picking my son up at times because of to much travel distance. we tried a number of things, i just have no family help there and to much travel. need a closer job with set hours. i quit my job on good terms. they understood that it was crazy for me to do it for that long.

Hi Tim,

I need to know what state you are in. Proving good cause for voluntarily quitting for the reason you did quit is much easier in some states.

The state determines how you would approach it.
